レイキ１
"最初にmotokoさんのところにいったのは、レイキヒーリングセッションを受けるためで、アチューンメントを受けようとは思ってもいませんでした。もともと疲れやすく、首凝り肩凝り等もひどくてアロママッサージ等に通っていたので、同じようなものだと考えていました。でも、レイキはマッサージをするわけでもなく服の上から手をのせているだけなのに、身体の芯の部分がマッサージを受けているような感覚がありとても不思議でした。血液やリンパ液もスムーズに流れてるみたいと感じている内に、寝てしまいました。セッションが終わった後も、後頭部がじわ～んとする心地よい感じが残っていて気持ちよく、深～くリラックスしていました。（でも人によって受ける感覚は違うそうです。）もちろん肩凝りはすっきりとしていました。アチューンメントを受けると誰でも出来るようになると聞き、「毎日自分で出来たら、さぞや気持ちよかろ～」と早速アチューンメントを受けることに。アチューンメントそのものも座っているだけで、何をすることもなく終了しました。こんな簡単でよいのかしらと。でも、アチューンメント後に練習としてmotokoさんにレイキをしたのですが・・・自分が受けているように気持ちが良かったです。その後もフォローアップとして彼女とエクスチェンジをするのですが、受けても気持ち良く与えても気持ち良くと、二度おいしい～です。もちろんいまだに、他のマッサージも大好きです。残念ながら、最近はセルフレイキをしているのでマッサージにほとんど行くことはなくなりましたが、マッサージとレイキのダブルは想像すると、うっとりです。"

"Thank you for the opportunity to experience this wonderful way of being. It has completely changed my whole outlook and helped show me what direction to take my life in and how to do it. "レイキ２のアチューンメントは、レイキ１の約4ヶ月後に受けました。レイキ１を受けた後、「一時的に身体の問題などが好転反応のように出てきたりするかも知れませんが、心配はいりませんよ。ヒーリングのプロセスだと思います。」と motokoさんから言われました。確かに最初はしんどくなったりもしたのですが、解毒しているだけという妙な安心感があり心配することもありませんでした。また、突然に何故かかなしくなって涙がじんわりするのですが、それもすぐに治まり楽になります。レイキ１のアチューンメントを受けた後、レイキ２をこんなにすぐ受けるとは思っていませんでした。そもそもは自分で出来るようになれば良いわ程度に考えていたので、いつか機会があればと。が、機会はすぐにやって来ました。自分の思いとは関係なく、です。レイキ１の伝授（アチューンメント）後、体調が良くなっていく他、様々な気付きもあり自然に流れていった感覚です。本来の自分に近付いていく「自由」を心地よく感じます。周りにおこる様々な出来事はただの現象で、意味を与えているのは自分だなあとも思うようになりました。レイキ２伝授の後は、レイキの流れをより強く感じるようになりましたし、セルフヒーリングもよりやり易くなったようです。練習等の何の努力もせず、完全にレイキの力を「信じている」わけでもないのに（今だにこの急に哀しくなったりするムードスイングは、ちょっぴり早い更年期かもと思っていたりしています。）、不思議です。先日、遠隔してみた日本の友人もその効果にびっくりしていました。レイキは「力づく」でないのが心地よく楽ちんです。まさしくヒーリングなのだと思います。私の準備が出来たら、きっとレイキ３も受けられるのだろうと楽しみにしています。"

Hands-on Reiki session
"I first visited Salon de Reiki in late 2003, when I was feeling very stressed out from work. So I decided to do myself a favor and explore what kinds of treatments were available. I found Salon de Reiki after a short internet search within Williamsburg and made an appointment. While I was unsure exactly what Reiki was, after asking friends (the few who knew), I thought I would try it and see if it worked. Well, that was 16 months ago, and I still see Motoko for Reiki sessions two times a month. I still remember the way I felt during the first session, not unlike floating in a boat on a calm pond on a sunny day - and the dreamlike imagery that came to mind, being a visual person. I felt amazingly relaxed, and Motoko barely applied more than the pressure of a finger. Worth every penny."
